Prairie Star Farm is overstocked with an elite group of registered and grade Holstein milking cows and replacement heifers. The sale will host approx. 40 milking cows and 40 heifers with the majority being genomic tested. This is a well bred herd that follows strict vaccination protocols and are freestall/headlock trained. Cows are milked in a parallel parlor and are on official test. Current Rolling Herd Average (RHA) 34,840 lbs. milk, 4.20% fat, 1,483 lbs. fat, 3.25% protein, 1,149 lbs. protein, and SCC under 150. This sale is before the Prairie Star Farm Equipment Auction where Prairie Star Farm is selling their excess equipment.
